    I am curious what was purpose served the park we see to the north of the structure.

      Thanks for your message. From what I understand, that area which is a park now…it used to be a waterbody earlier. The water has dried up and that channel no more flows through this path…leaving behind this open lawn or park. Hope this helps. Thanks and best wishes!
