One of the key ridge areas in Delhi, Sanjay Van (a City Forest) houses a plethora of Flora and Fauna within. There are hamaams, ponds, lakes, blue bulls, butterflies, peacocks and whole lot of forms in which LIFE manifests in this green lung of Delhi! And all of this is safely secured within the walls of the historical QILA LAL KOT – a fort that has seen Delhi in all its known and unknown forms right from the pre-Sultanate days! From the top of the fort walls we also get a beautiful view of several heritage structures adorning the adjoining historical village of Mehrauli. Here’s Episode 1 of this new series where we get introduced to SANJAY VAN 🙂 Happy Exploring!
