A New Chapter: Samanvaya Living

It’s been quite some time since I last wrote here.

That doesn’t mean the journey has paused – quite the opposite. Looking back, I realize that many of the interests I’ve shared over the years—music, meditation, heritage, travel, filmmaking, and reflections on conscious living—have gradually been converging in a direction that has now found a name: Samanvaya Living.

Together with my co-founders, we’ve been exploring a simple yet profound question:

How can we cultivate greater attention and awareness in everyday life?

Each of us comes from a different background—Integral Yoga, psychology, music, heritage, travel, and education. Yet we found ourselves moving towards a common vision: creating experiences that help people slow down, observe deeply, connect meaningfully, and discover a greater sense of harmony within themselves and with the world around them.

That is how Samanvaya Living came into being.

In many ways, it doesn’t feel like a departure from my earlier work. Rather, it feels like a natural coming together of the many threads that have been woven through my life for years.

Because of this, many of my recent writings have found a new home on the Samanvaya Living blog. If you’ve enjoyed reading my reflections here over the years, I’d be delighted if you continued the journey there as well.

To give you a glimpse of what Samanvaya Living has been nurturing, I’d like to share a reflection on our recently concluded Jeevan Yog Retreat in the Kumaon Himalayas.

Jeevan Yog was much more than a retreat. It was an exploration of conscious living through Integral Yoga, meditation, music, psychology, nature, heritage, creativity, and meaningful conversations. Over a few beautiful days, participants from diverse backgrounds came together to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the joy of learning in community.

If you’re curious about the spirit behind Samanvaya Living, this blog offers a window into our journey.

Alongside writing, I’ve also been creating films and music that reflect these interests:

🎥 Heritage Journeys

A growing collection of films exploring India’s remarkable historical and cultural sites—not merely as places to visit, but as spaces that invite observation, wonder, contemplation, and a deeper connection with our shared heritage.

🧘 Meditation & Inner Exploration

Guided meditations, relaxation practices, and contemplative experiences designed to help cultivate attention, inner quietude, and well-being.

🎶 Satsang Bhajans & Devotional Music

Music has always been an integral part of my inner journey. This playlist brings together live recordings from satsangs, bhajans, chants, and devotional gatherings that I’ve had the joy of being part of over the years. Whether you choose to sing along, listen quietly, or simply let the music accompany your day, I hope these offerings bring a sense of peace, devotion, and inner connection.

Whether through writing, music, meditation, heritage, or meaningful journeys, my intention remains much the same as it has always been—to explore ways of living with greater awareness, beauty, and presence.

Thank you for continuing to accompany me on this journey. I hope our paths continue to meet—through these reflections, the videos, or perhaps one of our future experiences with Samanvaya Living.

With gratitude,

Aditya Pathak
