Khanqah (Hospice/Monastery) and Chilla of Hzt. Nizamuddin Auliya (RA)
We all are aware of the shrine (dargaah) of the revered Sufi saint Hzt. Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi. But not many know about the place where the man lived most part of his life, guided visitors, fed the needy and observed spiritual practices!! Yes, in today’s episode we bring to you the ‘Khanqah‘ and ‘Chilla‘ of Hzt. Nizamuddin Auliya straight from the heart of Delhi, India 🙂 This place is adjacent to the Humayun’s Tomb complex in Delhi .. a Khanqah can be considered the Sufi equivalent of an Aashram or a Monastery/Hospice and a Chilla is a place where particular Sufi spiritual practices are observed. Hope you’ll like this voyage! Happy Exploring 🙂
